About Emily Jarvis

Ever since she was a small child, Emily Jarvis had a passion for cats. She pursued her dream of being a veterinarian during her undergraduate studies at Cornell University, where she graduated with a B.S. Degree in Biology in 1990. Following graduation, she remained at Cornell where she continued working toward her veterinary degree. In 1994, Dr. Jarvis was awarded her Doctorate in Veterinary Medicine from Cornell University College of Veterinary Medicine. Dr. Jarvis is licensed to practice in both the states of New York and New Jersey.

While continuing to explore her professional interests in feline medicine, especially animal behavior and urology, Dr. Jarvis practiced general veterinary medicine and surgery at the Princeton Animal Hospital from 1995-2009. In 2009, she began her own practice providing home-based feline veterinary care. Dr. Jarvis is also affilated with the Feline Medical Center in Lincroft, NJ.
